One of the major events in Mongolia that attracts many, the Mongolian economic forum 2016 had closed successfully, commemorating its 7th anniversary.

The Forum organized with the slogan Lessons, Challenges and Solutions brings together main figures to discuss the problems and challenges faced to the economy.

The forum was opened by the Mongolian Premier with keynote speech of the President where Ts,Elbegdorj once again recalled and reminded the lessons that Mongolia have learnt in the past.

The forum was also featured Ayumi Konishi, ADB and Dr Daniel Kaufmann, president of Natural Resource Governance Institute, who had shared the experience and provided update on the global prospects for the near future.

Researchers, experts and businessmen gather at the Forum to discuss and develop the policies, recommendations for the consideration of the Government. Despite the criticism of not bringing solutions, decisions, representatives of all the sectors are eager to attend the event to deliver their opinions and voices to the decision makers.

This year event was mainly focused on the challenges of Mongolia to overcome the current economic slowdown with less loss as possible. Sub sessions on innovation, new solutions, legal system, mining and social insurance systems were discussed among other hot issues. The breakout sessions were led by the experts on their fields.

The forum was closed by the remarks of the Parliament speaker Z.Enkhbold who wished well for the next Government to come.
