N.Battsereg, Minister of Environment, Green Development and Tourism received today Mr Hairi Al Jamal, manager for the Mining infrastructure investment project carried in Mongolia by the World Bank.

Parties discussed the position of the Mongolian Government on water reservoir with flow adjustment to be constructed on Orkhon river project, project on feasibility study of Shuren hydropower station, Environmental and social impact assessment and exchanged their views on projects. Both sides scheduled to have a meeting in late March to continue discussions. Mr Hairi Al Jamal extended the request of Mr Bert Hofman, country director in charge of China, South Korea and Mongolia to pay an official visit to Mongolia.
